A few years ago I went to Bodrum, Turkey, to visit my wonderful and dear friends, Anne and Frank Tuchel, who have a vacation home there. It was a memorable trip and I was amazed at the beauty of Turkey and the friendliness and warmth of the Turkish people. I took this photo early evening while walking after having a wonderful day and dinner. I enjoyed painting it especially because it brought back dear memories. I hope to repeat them sometime, hopefully in not the too distant future.
