9 x 12 in oil on linen Day 3 of 30 paintings in 30 days. This is another painting inspired by my trip this June to the Plein Air convention in Monterey. There is so much inspiration to be had down there in that beautiful part of California.
A Day at Ellis Lake
Lover’s Point
Today is day 1 of the 30 paintings in 30 days. I hadn’t thought much about a theme but I will do at least 10 paintings related to water, then I will see what moves me. This is a painting of Lover’s Point in Pacific Grove/Monterey from a photo that I took when I was there in June for the Plein Air convention.
“Lover’s Point”, oil on canvas board, 6 X 8 in.
Happy Easter! “French Dresses 2”
Day 10, Path to the Flower Farm
Day Nine, Fall in Nevada City
Day 2- Muggles at Christmas
30Paintings30Days: Day 1- French Poppy Bowl with Apple
Day 16 – ” Sailing at Sunset”
I have missed a couple of days of painting but still I do see the benefit of painting daily, even if you don’t finish a painting due to time constraints. I will continue with my theme of transportation, past and present, but I could possibly stray from the topic towards the end of the 30 days.
8 x 10″ oil on canvas board. $75.
Day 13 – Bystanders
This is a quick study of a scene that I may paint larger from a photo taken in Portland, Oregon. It still fits in with my theme of transportation for the 30 paintings in 30 days. I am having a little trouble keeping up painting one a day but I will persevere and try to have a little fun while doing it.
