At nearly the top of my list of my favorite things are horses. I have always loved horses. I have had 4 and someday I will have one again. But in the meantime I will paint them. These beautiful horses were outside the castle at Carcassonne, France. I took a photo of them while they were resting. These are working horses and they were taking a much needed break. So beautiful.
