The first painting of my theme of some of “My favorite things” is a painting inspired from a dress shop in Collioure, France. I was there in June and I loved looking at the beautiful clothes of course. Horton’s Truck
This one still needs some fine tuning but I thought I would go ahead and post it for today. This is an old Chevrolet truck that lives at the Horton Iris Farm in Loomis. I was there for a fun paint out when i took this photo. Oil on Linen, 11X 14″

“I’m in the mood for Strawberry”
Day 15 of 30 paintings in 30 days. Cupcakes and strawberries are always enjoyable to paint and to eat. My daughter, Emily, had to wait for dessert until I finished the painting but it was worth the wait. Oil on canvas board, 6 X 6″ $45
Little Bird
Continuing 30 paintings in 30 days… This is a study of complementary colors using violet and orange primarily. Makes the decisions easy on what colors to use. Maybe I will try this again using some of the other colors. Oil on canvas board, 8 X 10″
Vintage Green
Continuing with the 30 paintings in 30 days…. Auburn, California, where I live has “cruise nights” in the summer where you can see many of these lovely vintage autos. Beautiful things of the past and if you are fortunate, the present. Oil on Canvas, 8 X 10″
